The Operations Supervisor is responsible for managing the labor and equipment of the assigned warehouse department, ensuring timely completion and quality of orders. Your work will align with our commitment to exceeding customer expectations.  This role involves planning, organizing, and monitoring the receiving, storage, and distribution of items from suppliers or production shops. You will manage labor resources effectively while prioritizing orders with precision. The supervisor will train and supervise associates on assigned shifts.Â
YOUR TASKS
- Hire and ensure proper training of new employees for the departmentÂ
- Supervise and coordinate activities of employees and monitor departmental functions on the floorÂ
- Receive and transfer materialsÂ
- Performance management of all employees (KPIs)Â
- Document, update, and ensure procedures and quality processes are followedÂ
- Maintain supplies and equipment levels for the departmentÂ
- Monitor and adhere to customer requests and vendor-specific shipping requirementsÂ
- Update and maintain timekeeping and metrics in business systems, as they relate to WMS reportingÂ
- Ensure that shift-end specific department procedures with all systems are completed and floor end-of-shift closeout is followedÂ
- New customer integration and migration testingÂ
- Load and unload trucksÂ
- Understand traffic coordinationÂ
- Continuous involvement and support with departmental process improvementsÂ
- Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulationsÂ
- Follow and maintain 5S Program and guidelinesÂ
- Perform any additional tasks that may be assigned to ensure an efficient, safe, clean, and goal-oriented work environmentÂ

- High School Diploma or EquivalentÂ
- Previous experience in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse environmentÂ
- Knowledge of picking, packing, and shipping tasksÂ
- SAP or equivalent WMS systems experienceÂ
- 3-5 years of Supervisory experience or equivalent work experienceÂ
- Ability to follow instructions, processes, and proceduresÂ
- Strong verbal and written communication skillsÂ
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy and analytical skillsÂ
- Computer literacyÂ
- Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skillsÂ
- Experience with inventory researchÂ
- Team-orientedÂ
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills, notably ExcelÂ
