Role Overview 🚀

The Director of Programme Management is responsible for leading and developing the Programme Management function, ensuring the team is set up for success both strategically and operationally. This role oversees all Programme Managers, owning the direction, structure and effectiveness of the function. You will ensure the right tools, methodologies and frameworks are in place to support delivery excellence, while enabling the team to operate efficiently day-to-day. Acting as a seniorleader,youwillalsoplayakeyroleinremovingblockers,supportingdecision-makinganddrivingcontinuousimprovementacrossprogrammedelivery.

Responsibilities 🤘

• LeadandmanagetheProgrammeManagementteam,providingdirection,coachingandperformanceoversight

• DefineandownthestrategyfortheProgrammeManagementfunction,aligningwithwiderorganisationalgoals

• Ensuretheteamhastherighttools,frameworksandmethodologiestodeliversuccessfully

• Establishandcontinuouslyimproveprogrammedeliverystandards,governanceandbestpractices

• SupportProgrammeManagersinovercomingchallenges,unblockingdecisionsandnavigatingcomplexdeliveryenvironments

• Overseeday-to-dayoperationsoftheteamtoensureconsistent,high-qualityoutcomes

• Collaboratewithseniorstakeholderstodrivealignment,transparencyandeffectivedecision-making

• Identifyopportunitiestooptimiseprocesses,improveefficiencyandenhancedeliverycapability
