Job Summary

We are seeking aBanking Operations Contractor to support the Deloitte project team with banking operations, process improvement, analysis, compliance, and operational optimization. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in banking operations and the ability to work effectively with business, technology, and other cross-functional stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Support thedevelopment, enhancement, and implementation of banking operations strategies, processes, and procedures.
• Analyze banking operations, workflows, and performance data to identify opportunities forprocess improvement and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and project teams to ensure processes align withregulatory requirements, internal policies, and banking standards.
• Support theautomation and optimization of banking operations through technology and process improvements.
• Identify operational gaps, risks, inefficiencies, and control issues and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Assist with the development and maintenance ofprocess documentation, workflow diagrams, procedures, and operational materials.
• Monitor operational activities andKPIs, prepare reports, and provide insights to project leadership.
• Participate in requirements-gathering sessions, stakeholder meetings, process reviews, and project working sessions.
• Support testing, implementation, and stabilization of new or enhanced banking processes and systems.
• Provide guidance and knowledge transfer to team members onbanking operations best practices and procedures.
• Assist with issue identification, root-cause analysis, and resolution of operational challenges.
• Ensure timely completion of assigned project deliverables while maintaining quality and compliance.
• Perform other banking operations and project-related activities as required.

Required Qualifications

• Experience inbanking operations, financial services operations, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of banking processes, operational workflows, and controls.
• Experience working withcross-functional business and technology teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience analyzing operational data and preparingKPIs, metrics, and management reports.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements, compliance processes, and internal controls within financial services.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to document business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Proficiency withMicrosoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other business analysis/reporting tools.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced project environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supportingbanking transformation, modernization, or process-improvement initiatives.
• Experience withprocess automation, workflow automation, or digital banking solutions.
• Knowledge of banking products, transaction processing, payments, deposits, lending, or related operations.
• Experience with business requirements, UAT, process mapping, and implementation activities.
• Previous experience working onlarge financial-services or consulting engagements.
