THE JOB:
As an on-call Lead Barista at the Park MGM Starbucks, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining a clean and organized café environment, and delivering exceptional guest service.

THE STARTING RATE: 17.209 hourly

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Lead, coach, and train a shift of approximately 3–12 employees. 
• Demonstrate knowledge of selling techniques and service delivery for both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as menu items. 

• Resolve guest complaints within the scope of authority; otherwise, escalate concerns to management and notify the supervisor and/or Security of any unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft. 

• Accurately take, prepare, and serve food and beverage orders, including garnishing items as applicable. 

• Package and complete orders according to guest preferences, ensuring all necessary condiments are included. 

• Perform opening and closing duties based on shift assignment. 

• Receive warehouse deliveries and stock inventory in designated storage areas while maintaining organization; replenish supplies and equipment as needed. 

• Maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of front- and back-of-house areas, including clearing tables and counters and keeping the dining area clean without disrupting the guest experience. 

• Establish par levels for daily orders and complete daily order sheets.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience as a Fountain Worker, Barista, Cashier, or in a coffee shop/café environment within a high-volume food and beverage operation.
