Claims Rep Entry Level-Motorcycle

An entry-level Claims Representative position requires a learning nature,empathy and interpersonal skills along witha strong desire toassist customers. 
 
We're currently recruiting for a Claims Representative to work within ourMotorcycle Unit

 
This position will belocated atourDavenport, IA office following the hybrid work model—this role isNOTavailable for remote work. 
 
What You'll Do 

Asan entry-level Claims Rep,you will: 

• Gain knowledge to verify coverage, compensability, and reasonable payments by thoroughly reviewing the policy, reviewingaccident details, and other pertinent information related to the claim. 

• Develop investigative claims skills by taking and reviewing recorded statements from involved parties and witnesses, reviewingpolice reports, and other pertinent evidence. 

• Build knowledge to evaluateclaims exposure appropriately,establishingtimely reserves. 

• Comply with industry regulations, legal requirements, and internal company policies through thorough documentation of alldecisions, correspondence, and discussions that occur throughout the life cycle of the claim. 

• Support customers with empathy and understanding,assisting them throughdifficult situations and effectively communicating theclaims process, ongoing claim status, and decisions, including the reasoning behind them. 

• Ability to obtain andmaintain state licensing requirements 

What it Takes 

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalentwork experience 

• Previous insurance related and/or customer service experience is preferred. 

• Ability to professionally communicate verbally and in writing 

• Ability to exercise effective time management skills. 

• Shows technological aptitude. 

• Associates must have the ability to travel as necessary to satisfactorily complete their job responsibilities as assigned.
