About The Job:
- We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Kubernetes, Azure Cloud Operations, and DevOps practices.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and optimizing Azure environments, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security across our cloud infrastructure.
- Administer and manage Kubernetes clusters (deployment, scaling, upgrades, patching).
- Manage Helm charts, Operators, ConfigMaps, and Secrets for application deployments.
- Work on Docker image creation and optimization for application packaging.
- Troubleshoot pod scheduling issues, taints/tolerations, node affinity/anti-affinity, and autoscaling.
- Build, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar).
- Automate operational tasks using Bash, PowerShell, or Terraform.
- Implement observability: monitoring, logging, and alerting with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Azure Monitor, and Log Analytics.
- Manage and administer Azure infrastructure including Virtual Machines, Blob Storage, Azure SQL, AKS, Functions, VNets, Application Gateway, Load Balancer, and related services.
- Collaborate with developers to optimize container resource configurations.
- Work with cross-functional teams in Agile/DevOps environments to deliver high-quality infrastructure solutions.
Required Skills
- 3–4+ years of hands-on Kubernetes administration.
- Proficiency with Docker, Helm, ConfigMaps, Operators, Secrets management.
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes networking, RBAC, and security policies.
- Strong experience with DevOps tools (CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, automation).
- Expertise in taints, tolerations, affinity/anti-affinity rules.
- Proficiency in Bash/PowerShell scripting for automation.
- Strong Linux and Windows administration background.
- Hands-on experience with Azure services (VMs, Blob Storage, Azure SQL, Functions, VNets, Application Gateway, Load Balancer, Key Vault, etc.).
- Strong understanding of Azure RBAC, IAM, and cloud security best practices.
- Good knowledge of Azure networking concepts (VNets, Subnets, NSGs, ExpressRoute, Peering).
- Hands-on with Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.
- Experience with monitoring & logging tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK).
- Experience working in Agile/DevOps environments.
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate / Azure Solutions Architect Associate.
- Any other relevant certifications (DevOps, Terraform, or cloud-related) will be a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
