Program Manager

Essential Functions (Duties and Responsibilities):

• Oversee and assist with implementation of day-to-day project and budget management forcommunity-engaged, health disparity research programs, including in collaboration with other academic institutions and community-based organizations and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain systems for tracking multiple community-engaged, health disparity research program deadlines, activities, and outcomes.
• Develop and coordinate progress reports and presentations as required by research program sponsors or in communicating programmatic outcomes to diverse stakeholder audiences.
• Plan and provide logistical support for research and community stakeholder meetings
• Assist with development and coordination of research grant proposals and budgets
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Strong system development skills, including high proficiency with software programs
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with the full suite of Microsoft office products
• Strong oral and written communication skills

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Preferred:

• Completed master’s degree in a public health, community health, or related scientific field
•  Prior community engagement and/or community-engaged research experience
• Prior program or project management experience

Education and Experience Required:

• Master’s degree required
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience
