Operations Controller FBNL (f/m/d)

What you will do:

• Prepare and execute accurate and timely invoicing for energy trading contracts across France, Belgium, the Netherlands, and potentially additional markets

• Manage incoming booking and validation requests while ensuring high-quality and same-day processing where required

• Coordinate invoicing processes including data collection, reconciliation, invoice preparation, and exchange with counterparties

• Act as a key contact for billing questions, operational requests, and dispute resolution

• Support process improvements, testing activities, and operational excellence initiatives

• Oversee operational workflows across the full deal lifecycle, including reconciliations, confirmations, and payment-related processes

What you bring & who you are:

• Higher education in accounting, finance, economics, business, or a related field

• Experience in energy trading, sales operations, or a similar operational environment

• Good understanding of gas and power markets, ideally across France, Belgium, and the Netherlands

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with a solution-oriented mindset

• Ability to work with complex business processes, data management, and tight deadlines

• Ideally, knowledge of SQL or VBA and additional European language skills

• Confident communication skills in English (C1/C2); ideally, you also speak additional European languages
