Job Title:- AXIS Conversion SME - Contractor
Duration: Through 3/31/27, potential extension
Job Location:- Remote
Responsibilities
- AXIS Conversion SME / Lead / Architect: Actuarial team leader to drive AXIS conversion build, testing, and reconciliation.
- Manage end-to-end AXIS model conversion projects, ensuring alignment with business requirements, actuarial standards, and project timelines.
- Collaborate with actuarial, finance, risk, and technology teams to gather requirements, resolve issues, and support successful model implementation.
- Perform model validation, testing, and reconciliation of conversion results, identifying and resolving discrepancies to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Provide technical leadership, guidance, and best practices for AXIS model development, conversion methodologies, documentation, and governance processes.
- Axis model development in Regular Life, Universal Life, and/or Asset modules, Actuarial conversions.
- Strong understanding of life insurance products, actuarial modeling concepts, valuation methodologies, and financial reporting requirements.
- Experience leading actuarial model conversion, testing, validation, and reconciliation efforts in complex insurance environments.
- Ability to analyze business requirements, troubleshoot model issues, and communicate effectively with actuarial and cross-functional stakeholders.
- CASE experience is preferred but not required; familiarity with other actuarial modeling and conversion tools is a plus.
