About the Role:Â
We are seeking an experienced Lead Project Technician to join our team and support a variety of client-facing technology initiatives. This role focuses on building and maintaining Microsoft 365 Commercial, GCC, and GCC High tenants, executing migration and infrastructure projects, and ensuring ongoing compliance and operational excellence—especially around CMMC-related maintenance activities.Â

Key Responsibilities:Â
- Microsoft 365 Tenant Builds:Â Design, configure, and deploy M365 Commercial, GCC, and GCC High tenants, ensuring best practices for security, compliance, and scalability.Â
Migrations:Â
- Plan and execute email migrations (Exchange Online, on-premises Exchange, third-party systems).Â
- Perform SharePoint Online migrations, ensuring data integrity and user access continuity.Â
Project Execution:Â
- Participate in or lead infrastructure projects such as network builds, workstation migrations, server builds, and tenant reconfigurations.Â
- Support the deployment and configuration of security and compliance solutions across environments.Â
Support Collaboration:Â
- Assist the Support Department with escalations that require advanced troubleshooting or project-level expertise.Â
- Mentor Tier I and Tier II team members when needed.Â
CMMCÂ Support:Â
- Assistance with CMMC/Client On-BoardingÂ
- Working with clients as tenant is built through implementation phasesÂ
- Support ongoing CMMC compliance activities, including system maintenance, audit preparation, and documentation updates.Â
- Implement and maintain required security controls and configurations in client environments.Â
Process Improvement:Â
- Contribute to the creation and refinement of standard operating procedures, automation scripts, and technical documentation to improve efficiency and consistency.
Qualifications & Skills:Â
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in systems engineering, infrastructure projects, or M365 administration.Â
- Proven experience deploying and managing Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Intune, Entra ID/Azure AD).Â
- Experience with GCC and GCC High environments highly preferred.Â
- Strong background in Active Directory, networking, and Windows Server environments.Â
- Familiarity with CMMC, NIST 800-171, or other compliance frameworks is a plus.Â
- Proficiency in PowerShell or other scripting languages for automation.Â
- Excellent documentation, organization, and communication skills.Â
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a team-driven environment.Â

- Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator ExpertÂ
- Microsoft Certified: Security Administrator AssociateÂ
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent cybersecurity certificationÂ
- Any CMMC, NIST, or compliance-related certification (preferred)Â
