About the role:
TheSeasonal Night & Weekend Traffic Safety Technician (TST) supports roadway and construction projects by providing professional traffic control services. This position focuses onout-of-town night and weekend assignments from now through the summer.

- Setting up cones, signs, and barricades and taking traffic control equipment downÂ
- Using a stop/slow paddle to guide traffic, watching traffic and job site activityÂ
- Following all safety rules taught in trainingÂ
- Communicating with your crew and supervisorÂ
- Helping keep vehicles and equipment clean and safeÂ
- Working outside all year, in all weatherÂ
- Shifts may change based on job needs: Some nights, weekends, or emergency work may be requiredÂ
- You may stand or walk 8 to 12 hours per shiftÂ
- We give you a hard hat, safety goggles, a safety vest, safety whistle, walkie talkie, and cold/hot weather gear: you bring your own steel toe safety boots that go above the ankle.Â
- Able to stand, walk, and work outside for long periodsÂ
- Able to lift 40–50 poundsÂ
- Willing to work in traffic and changing weatherÂ
- Flexible schedule; Show up on time, every shiftÂ
- Must pass pre-hire screening, including a drug test (this is a safety sensitive job)Â
- Stay alert around moving traffic and follow all safety rules all the timeÂ
- Treat coworkers, clients, and the public with respectÂ
- Seasonal, part-time employment (spring through summer)
- Nights and weekends required
- Paid travel time and per diem for out-of-town assignments
- Competitive hourly pay based on experience
