OverviewÂ
As an Account Executive for the Public Sector in the DACH region, you will play a pivotal role in building and shaping our public sector business from the ground up. You will be responsible for developing and closing new business opportunities with public accounts across Germany, focusing on subverticals such as Healthcare, NGOs, Energy, Education, State Government and more.Â
Your responsibilities will include:Â
- Developing new prospects and expanding existing accounts in the Public SectorÂ
- Managing sales cycles with a consultative sales approachÂ
- Planning and delivering presentations that give prospective and existing customers insights into how our solutions solve their challengesÂ
- Communicating new product developments to prospective and existing clientsÂ
- Working with strategic AvePoint partners to grow your pipeline and ensure successful collaborationÂ
- Attending remote and on-site meetings with clients as well as fairs and partner eventsÂ
- Collaborating closely with pre-sales engineers, strategic partners, and cross-functional teams to close dealsÂ
- Working with the Business Development RepresentativeÂ
- Handling opportunities prospected by our Account Specialist teamÂ
- Implementing and executing effective sales campaigns to ensure maximum penetration of key accounts within your territoryÂ
- Maintaining an accurate and current pipeline of opportunities within the CRM systemÂ

- Bachelor’s degree or relevant vocational training Â
- A minimum of 3-5 years of previous sales experienceÂ
- Experience in the software/technology industry Â
- Sales experience in the German public sector is a plusÂ
- Experience with executive selling, both business and technicalÂ
- Excellent communication and listening skillsÂ
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with a high level of initiative and determinationÂ
- Determination to surpass performance goalsÂ
- Willingness to learnÂ
- Ability to work individually and within a highly collaborative team environmentÂ
- Ability to think on your feetÂ
- Fluent in German and EnglishÂ
