Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Automation Test Lead with strong hands-on expertise in Playwright, Selenium, TypeScript, API Testing, Python, and Generative AI testing. The ideal candidate will lead automation initiatives, develop and execute automated test scripts, support Selenium-to-Playwright migration, and incorporate GenAI tools into modern testing practices.

The candidate will also be responsible for release management, hands-on automation activities, and coordination with offshore teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and execute automated test scripts using Playwright.

• Build and maintain UI automation frameworks using Playwright and Selenium.

• Lead and support Selenium-to-Playwright framework migration.

• Develop automation solutions using TypeScript.

• Perform API testing using Rest Assured and related frameworks.

• Develop automation utilities and testing solutions using Python.

• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.

• Work with GitHub Actions and DevOps practices to support continuous testing.

• Utilize Jira, Confluence, GitHub, and GitHub Copilot in day-to-day testing and collaboration.

• Incorporate GenAI tools into software testing and QA processes.

• Perform hands-on testing of Generative AI solutions leveraging LLMs such as OpenAI, Claude, and Amazon Bedrock.

• Conduct prompt validation, model evaluation, and AI application testing.

• Validate AI application behavior, responses, and functional requirements.

• Handle application releases while continuing hands-on automation development and execution.

• Coordinate with offshore QA/automation teams and provide technical guidance.

• Participate in test planning, defect management, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of automation frameworks.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in software QA and test automation.

• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and Selenium.

• Experience writing and executing automated test scripts.

• Strong TypeScript programming skills.

• Experience with Rest Assured and API Testing.

• Strong Python programming skills.

• Hands-on experience with Selenium-to-Playwright migration.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, and DevOps practices.

• Experience with Jira, Confluence, GitHub, and GitHub Copilot.

• Experience incorporating GenAI tools into testing.

• Hands-on experience testing Generative AI/LLM-based applications.

• Experience with OpenAI, Claude, Amazon Bedrock, or similar LLM platforms.

• Knowledge of prompt validation, model evaluation, and AI application testing.

• Strong understanding of Agile testing methodologies.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work effectively with onsite and offshore teams.
