Automation Engineer

Location: Onsite 3 days in Brookfield WI

Duration: contract until end of the years with potential for extension



Project:

• This team supports testing for Salucro's patient and provider portals for healthcare billing
• The primary focus of this project will be transitioning their UI automation from Cypress to Playwright and implementing Playwright's AI agent
• Most of the tests are local to Client's physical laptops/computers, they will be moving the tests onto the cloud to make them more environment-friendly and increase accessibility



Team Breakdown:

• 3 people on the team currently, just hired a full-time employee
• 2 offshore testers



Responsibilities:

• Leading the effort to migrate from Cypress to Playwright
• Manage the migration to cloud
• Collaborate with the other senior testers to strategize for the migrations
• Provide training/mentorship/guidance in Playwright to on and offshore testers



Must Haves:

• 6+ years of experience – the recent full time person they hired has 9 years, more is better
• Playwright & Cypress experience – need this person to be an expert as the rest of the team does not know Playwright
  • AI within Playwright is a nice to have
  • Can be TypeScript or JavaScript based
  • Must have 3+ years of professional experience with Playwright
• Cloud – ideally this person would have experience moving testing frameworks from on-prem to cloud, but experience in a cloud-native environment would be sufficient
  • Open to any cloud platform
• Prior experience as a lead – this person will be the go-to resource on Playwright. Need someone who is willing/able to train and mentor others
