IT Controlling Lead Specialist

In this role you will support to establish and maintain sufficient transparency of planned and actual IT expenditures and headcount for global and divisional IT organizations. Transparency should be given by cost type, function, application or project at a granularity tailored to the target audience. You will support the creation and maintenance of clear definitions around IT financials as well as the implementation of efficient processes and tools to enable accountability and sound decision making.
Should you be interested in overseeing thesetasks and aiming for enhanced performance standards, your role will involve:
Lead Rolling Forecast planning and consolidation for your assigned IT scope, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business needs.
Analyze Actuals vs Plan monthly, providing root‑cause insights and clear explanations for senior IT and Finance leaders.
Coordinate IT CAPEX planning, reporting, capitalization, and compliance with accounting standards.
Oversee IT-related inputs for the monthly accruals process, ensuring accuracy and alignment with Shared Service Centers.
Manage IT headcount reporting, proactively identifying and correcting data inconsistencies.
Support IT project value analysis and business cases, ensuring correct financial reflection in forecasts.
Improve IT controlling processes, definitions, reporting structures, and governance frameworks.
Develop and maintain IT financial reporting structures (GL accounts, cost centers, project codes).
Maintain IT‑related approval flows in finance tools, ensuring governance and audit readiness.
Create and deliver training materials for IT finance processes and tools.
And if you have/are:
Degree inBusiness Administration, Accounting, or Economics.
Solid experience incontrolling within a production environment, including monthly closing, reporting, forecasting, and product costing.
Strong analytical skills and resilience, with the ability to translate numbers into meaningful business insights.
Experience collaborating withdirector‑level stakeholders or above.
Knowledge ofUS GAAP, SAP/AFIS/OneStream, and strongExcel skills (Power BI is a plus).
Fluent in English.
Ability to work independently in a global, decentralized environment.
