Â
How will your ideas contribute to shaping what’s next?Â
We’re looking for a Technology Experience Specialist to join our Sydney team. This is a hands‑on, people‑focused role where you’ll be the face of IT support in the office - helping our people get the most out of their technology and ensuring their day runs smoothly.Â
Â
This role goes beyond traditional service desk support. You’ll play a key role in shaping the on‑site technology experience, supporting hybrid ways of working, and building strong relationships across the business. You’ll work closely with local and global technology teams to deliver responsive, practical solutions in a fast‑paced and collaborative environment. Here are the key things you will do to ‘bring ideas to life’:Â
- Provide high‑quality, customer‑focused IT support to on‑site and remote employeesÂ
- Support laptops, mobile devices, peripherals, and collaboration tools in a hybrid working environment
- Assist with technology setup, onboarding, and day‑to‑day technical issues across the Sydney office and NSW/ACT region. Â
- Support Microsoft Teams meetings, hybrid events, video conferencing systems, and meeting room technologyÂ
- Manage IT assets, including tracking and maintaining laptops, phones, and other end-user equipmentÂ
- Build strong relationships across the business, including with senior stakeholdersÂ
- Work collaboratively with global technology teams to resolve issues and improve user experienceÂ
- Contribute to a visible, approachable, and solutions‑focused technology presence in the officeÂ
Â
What we’re looking for:Â
- Experience in IT support, service desk, or desktop support (around 1–2 years or equivalent)Â
- Strong people and communication skills - you enjoy helping others and building relationshipsÂ
- A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset with the confidence to manage issues independentlyÂ
- Experience supporting Windows environments, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, InTune, Zscaler, hardware and softwareÂ
- Ability to learn new systems quickly in a complex, fast‑moving environmentÂ
- Experience working in a consulting or professional services environment (desirable)Â
- IT qualifications or equivalent practical experienceÂ
- ITIL certification is beneficial but not essentialÂ
This role is office‑based, five days per week, and suits someone who enjoys being visible, engaged, and hands‑on. There will be occasional travel required to visit our Newcastle and Canberra offices. Â
Â
How will your future be shaped by us?Â
At Aurecon, you’ll be supported by leaders who care deeply about people, growth, and development. This role offers:Â
- A supportive team culture where your contribution is genuinely valuedÂ
- Exposure to a large, complex technology environment with opportunities to broaden your skillsÂ
- Strong leadership support and clear focus on career development and progressionÂ
- The chance to play a key role in shaping the everyday experience of our peopleÂ
- A collaborative, low‑ego environment where learning and improvement are encouragedÂ
