OSAT Account Manager (m/f/d)

Advanced Electronics & Semiconductor Solutions (AESS) – AUMOVIO

Role Purpose

TheOSAT Account Manager is responsible for theend‑to‑end operational management of OSAT partners for assembly and test activities.
The role ensuresstable execution, delivery reliability, quality performance, and capacity availability across all assigned AESS semiconductor programs.

The OSAT Account Manager acts as thesingle operational interface to OSATs, whilecommercial negotiations and contracting are led by Purchasing.
This position ownspurchase order execution, supplier performance steering, and cross‑functional alignment to secure smooth backend operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. OSAT Operational Account Ownership

  • Own theday‑to‑day operational relationship with assigned OSAT partners.
  • Act as theprimary interface for execution, delivery, capacity, and issue resolution.
  • Coordinate OSAT activities across multiple programs, packages, and sites.
  • Leadregular operational reviews focusing on delivery, yield, quality, and risks.

2. Purchase Order & Demand Execution

  • Create, manage, and releasepurchase orders (POs) in alignment with demand forecasts and program needs.
  • Ensure PO correctness regardingvolumes, dates, sites, and part numbers.
  • Monitor PO fulfillment, backlog, and shipment status.
  • Coordinate changes to POs (schedule, volume, site) in alignment with Program Management and Supply Chain.

3. Delivery, Capacity & Ramp‑Up Management

  • Ensureon‑time delivery and sufficient OSAT capacity for prototypes, ramps, and volume production.
  • Coordinatecapacity planning, ramp‑ups, and peak volume scenarios.
  • Identify potentialcapacity bottlenecks early and initiate mitigation actions.
  • Supportsite transfers, dual sourcing, and contingency plans where required.

4. Supplier Performance & KPI Steering

  • Monitor and steer OSAToperational KPIs, e.g.:
    • On‑time delivery (OTD)
    • Yield and scrap
    • Cycle time and turnaround time
    • Test stability and fallout trends
  • Drive corrective actions together with OSAT operations and engineering teams.
  • Escalate performance issues internally and externally in a structured manner.

5. Quality & Change Interface

  • Work closely withSupplier Quality Management (SQM) on audits, qualifications, deviations, and 8D activities.
  • Ensure proper execution ofchange management (process, material, site changes).
  • Support automotive and industrial compliance requirements
    (e.g. IATF 16949, AEC‑Q, customer‑specific standards).

6. Cross‑Functional Coordination

  • Interface closely withProgram Managers (PM), Technical Project Managers (TPM), Operations, Logistics, and Quality.
  • Support package and test decisions from anexecution, risk, and capacity perspective.
  • Ensure alignment betweencustomer demand, internal planning, and OSAT execution.

7. Interface to Purchasing

  • Act as theoperational counterpart to Purchasing for OSAT topics.
  • Provide input forprice discussions, cost transparency, and supplier assessments (without leading negotiations).
  • Support implementation of negotiated agreements intooperational execution and PO processes.
  • Degree inEngineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business Administration, or comparable.
  • 5+ years experience in semiconductor backend operations, OSAT management, or supplier operations.
  • Solid understanding ofassembly & test processes, automotive/industrial requirements, and production flows.
  • Experience withPO management and operational supplier control.
  • Experience in afabless semiconductor or automotive environment is a strong advantage.
