TheCustomer Requirements Engineer is responsible for managing, analyzing, and monitoring customer and stakeholder requirements within a project. The role ensures requirement quality, traceability, effective communication, and compliance with the defined requirements engineering methodology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and manage customer and stakeholder requirements throughout the project lifecycle
  • Create, maintain, and update theCustomer Requirements Status
  • Create and maintain theRequirements Engineering Plan
  • Ensure properanalysis and traceability of customer requirements
  • Performsystematic analysis of requirements
  • Identify, analyze, and managedependencies between requirements
  • Identifyweaknesses, gaps, and risks related to requirements
  • Moderate discussions and facilitatecommunication among multiple stakeholders
  • Assign requirements to the appropriatedisciplines, departments, or roles
  • Act as theprimary interface with the customer for requirements-related topics
  • Ensure adherence to the definedrequirements engineering methodology
  • Import and exportcustomer requirements documentation
  • Providerequirements status reports to internal organization and customer
  • Providerelease recommendations based on requirements status
  • Escalate requirements status in cases of insufficient progress or increased risk

 

    • Advanced level ofEnglish (written and spoken);
    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (completed or in progress);
    • Strong background inAutomotive Systems;
    • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

    Experience in

    • Requirements engineering and requirements management;
    • Use of requirements engineering tools (e.g. DOORS or equivalent).
