Job Description:
Qualifications:
Biophysical Associate Scientist Qualifications:
- College degree in science related field or equivalent laboratory experience.
- Computer applications:
o Ability to learn and develop comfort with various instrumentation software.
- Careful adherence to established procedures and proposed experimental design.
- Detail oriented and manual dexterity when working with instruments and samples.
- Demonstrating integrity in performing tasks to produce repeatable data.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Collects samples and prepares hair swatches to perform methods adhering to a set procedure.
- Performs technical procedures to measure product performance on hair with variety of lab equipment.
- Analyses data, performs statistical calculations, and draws conclusions to substantiate claims.
- Documents work and write reports on product evaluation in conformance with company policies and standards.
- Keeps laboratory consumables organized and stocked, assembling and dismantling instruments where necessary.
- Aids in the research and development of new methods and exploratory claims substantiation.
- Analyses consumer insights and survey data to draw conclusions on new claims language and trends.
