Summary:
This largely laboratory-based position involves driving cutting-edge analytical support and technology development impacting process and product development teams. The role requires working cross-functionally and across Process Development sites to use analytical science for efficient development and scalable understanding of processes and products.
Responsibilities
- Drive analytical support and technology development for process and product development teams.
- Work cross-functionally and across Process Development sites.
- Apply theoretical understanding and hands-on experience in small molecule/peptide analysis.
- Support process development/scale-up activities and formulation development in GMP and non-GMP environments.
- Utilize a broad array of chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques.
- Demonstrate independence and produce quality results under minimal direction.
- Generate complete, accurate, and concise documentation using electronic systems and laboratory notebooks.
- Operate specialized laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
- Perform general laboratory housekeeping activities.
- Complete training on assigned tasks.
- Comply with safety guidelines and site-specific procedures.
Qualifications
- Strong theoretical understanding of protein chemistry.
- Experience with liquid chromatography.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- High energy individual capable of multitasking and handling a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
Skills
- Experience in generating, analyzing, and critically evaluating analytical data of therapeutic proteins.
Pay Transparency:The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $20.00 - $21.00 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
