About the Role
As anAssistant Manager, you’ll work closely with the Manager to lead, encourage, and support a team of Direct Support Professionals. You’ll help keep daily operations running smoothly while ensuring the people we serve receive high-quality, person-centered support.

What You’ll Do
Support, coach, and encourage Direct Support Professionals
Help coordinate staffing, schedules, training, and daily operations
Assist with employee performance reviews and development
Promote meaningful, high-quality programming for the people we serve
Help ensure services are delivered safely and consistently
Respond to concerns and solve problems with professionalism and care
Step into a leadership role during unexpected situations or emergencies
Build a positive, respectful environment for employees and the people we support

Qualifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or General Education Development diploma (GED) preferred. Prefer two years related experience and/or training. This position has a three-month introductory period.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Will meet and maintain the required certifications to become a medication technician certified as required for the position.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before employees of the organization.
