TOMRA was founded on an innovation in 1972 that began with the design, manufacturing and sale of reverse vending machines (RVMs) for automated collection of used beverage containers. In early 2015, the sorting division established a R&D center in Xiamen to carry out independent R&D, production and sales in the market segments of sorting equipment, focusing on the Chinese market and promoting to global customers.

- Application engineers need to conduct tests on the entire machine, including software, firmware, hardware, optical and electrical systems, and provide feedback on issues identified during testing to different technical teams..
- 应用工程师需要对整机包括(软件、固件、硬件、光学、电气等)进行测试，并将测试中的问题反馈给不同的技术小组。
- Be required to lead the test plan, identify as many issues in the system as possible, and put forward opinions and solutions.
- 需主导测试计划，尽可能多的发现系统中的问题点，并提出意见和方案。
- As specific sorting equipment expert provide technical supports for the other departments (production, service etc.). Locate and solve problems through remote platform and output reports regularly
- 作为某一款分选设备的专家，为其它部门（比如生产、售后等）提供支持。通过远程平台定位解决问题，定期输出报告等
Main Responsibilities:

Performs tests on new technology platform and machines, provides a detailed test report.

Communicate with different technical specialist with the result of tests. Suggest modifications, improvements to the system.

Develop and test AI models to achieve the optimal test results.

Assist in the design and development of new products and tools necessary to make target applications successful.

Able to undertake domestic and international travel, and support customer sites as required to perform equipment testing, system commissioning, troubleshooting, and technical support activities.

Bachelor or above majored in technology or Engineering .
工科本科学士学位及以上 。
A broad technical knowledge (software, hardware, mechanics). Not in detail but more in knowing what the capabilities of the different technologies are.

Be creative, good at trying different methods to achieve the goals.
