Waiter/Waitress

As a Waiter/Waitress at Rixos Al Mairid Ras Al Khaimah, you will provide warm, professional food and beverage service while creating a welcoming experience for every guest. You will follow the resort’s service standards and work closely with the team to keep the outlet running smoothly.

Key responsibilities:

• Welcome guests, answer enquiries, and build positive relationships through attentive service.
• Know the food and beverage menu, recommend suitable options, and identify opportunities to upsell.
• Complete opening and closing duties and keep the outlet clean, organised, and ready for service.
• Respond to guest concerns promptly and refer unresolved issues to the Team Leader for follow-up.
• Monitor supplies, minimise waste, and assist with operating equipment inventories.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, health and safety procedures, and participate in required training.

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality or a related field is preferred.
• Previous food and beverage service experience in a four or five-star hotel is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of food and beverage service, with the ability to recommend menu items and upsell.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, guest-focused approach.
• Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and health and safety standards.

• Flexible to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required by operational needs.
• Able to adapt to different food and beverage outlets and support other areas of the hotel when required.
• Maintains a professional appearance and a high standard of personal hygiene.
• Demonstrates teamwork, professionalism, and a friendly, guest-focused approach.
• Committed to maintaining a clean, organised workplace and following food safety, hygiene, and health and safety procedures.
• Willing to attend training and continuously develop knowledge of the menu and service standards.
