Data Analyst Intern

About the Role 

We are seeking a motivated and analyticalData Analyst Intern to support the team in transforming data into meaningful insights that support decision-making, risk analysis, and project outcomes. The role involves working with structured and unstructured data, performing analysis, and supporting reporting initiatives across ongoing projects within the department. 

This is an excellent opportunity for a student or fresh graduate who is interested in data analysis, business intelligence, and data-driven problem-solving in a real-world corporate environment. 

Please note: This is an unpaid internship. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Collect, clean, and organize data from multiple sources to support ongoing projects. 

• Perform basic data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies. 

• Support the team in building reports, dashboards, and data summaries for stakeholders. 

• Assist in validating data accuracy, consistency, and completeness. 

• Collaborate with Data Security Interns and technical team members on shared projects, ensuring data integrity and compliance considerations. 

• Document analysis methods, assumptions, and findings clearly. 

• Propose ideas to improve data quality, reporting efficiency, and analytical processes. 

Qualifications & Skills 

• Strong interest in data analysis, business intelligence, or analytics-related roles. 

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills. 

• Ability to work with numbers, datasets, and logical reasoning. 

• Comfortable documenting insights and explaining findings in a clear manner. 

• Team player with good communication skills. 

Preferred 

• Basic knowledge of data analysis tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, Power BI, Tableau, or similar. 

• Familiarity with basic SQL or data querying concepts. 

• Coursework or projects in data analysis, statistics, information systems, computer science, or business analytics. 

• Understanding of data privacy or data governance concepts is a plus.
