Application Developer

We are seeking an Application Developer to join our team. The selected candidate will work onsite in Atlanta, GA, due to the nature of the job.

Job Description:

We are seeking an Application Developer to support the configuration of all aspects of the FASTDS-VS® COTS application. The selected candidate will perform requirements gathering and analysis, application configuration, reference table configurations, user setup and access permissions, application development for change requests, scripting, software debugging, source control, application testing, preparation of implementation specifications, and production application support.

The candidate must possess a good understanding of different software development methodologies, including both traditional and Agile approaches.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required. A degree in one of the following fields is preferred, but not required:
  • Computer Science
  • Computer/Management Information Systems
  • Mathematics
• 2 years of experience with a SQL database
• 2 years of experience with object-oriented development, including .NET, Java, C#, or VB
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Working knowledge of software development methodologies, standards, and coding best practices
• Enthusiasm and eagerness to learn

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with web services
• Familiarity with APIs
• Experience with AWS
• Knowledge of SQL stored procedures
