QA Mobile Automation Engineer

You are a Mobile Automation Engineer passionate about building reliable automation solutions that ensure the quality of mobile applications. You enjoy designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.

You Bring to Applaudo the Following Competencies:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field is desired, or equivalent professional experience.
• 2+ years of experience in Software Testing and QA Automation.
• Experience with JavaScript.
• Experience performing API testing.
• Hands-on experience with WebDriverIO and Appium.
• Experience with tools for mobile-based applications such as Appium (For iOS and Android with JAVA).
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and automation pipelines.
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks.
• Working knowledge of performance testing is a plus.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Advanced English proficiency.

You Will Be Accountable for the Following Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test scenarios and test data.
• Identify opportunities to increase automation across software testing processes.
• Define and implement automation strategies in collaboration with QA Engineers and Development teams.
• Coordinate test plans with Project Managers, Engineering teams, and other stakeholders.
• Execute automated and manual testing activities while monitoring test progress and quality metrics.
• Generate automated test execution reports and testing summaries.
• Support the evaluation, implementation, and continuous improvement of automation tools and frameworks.
• Define and monitor testing metrics to evaluate software quality and testing effectiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery in Agile environments.

• 2+ years of experience in QA Automation.
• Experience with JavaScript, WebDriverIO, Appium, and API Testing.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and mobile test automation.
• Familiarity with Agile (Scrum) methodologies.
• ISTQB certification (CTFL) is a plus.
• Advanced English proficiency.
