Senior QA Automation Engineer

Our main goal is to ease the everyday routines of app developers, product managers, marketing teams, customer support, etc. AppFollow helps you gather and manage your apps and games data, increase app average rating, improve app store rankings, and app user loyalty.

 

This fully remote role is for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to help grow AppFollow globally. You'll work on product features together with the Product team, own product quality end to end, and build the test automation and AI-agent infrastructure used by engineers across the company. 

 

- Ownproduct quality across the full feature lifecycle

- Review product documentation, clarify requirements, and identify dependencies early (shift-left approach)

- Design, build, and maintainautomated test coverage forboth our APIs (internal and public, covering core data entities) andour web UI, using Playwright or similar browser automation tools

- Develop ourAI-agent testing infrastructure: a shared platform that QA engineers and developers across teams use to test their own projects and contribute to. You'll shape its architecture, standards, and contribution model

- Contribute totest automation and monitoring systems, keeping the codebase efficient, testable, reliable, secure, scalable, and well documented 

- Collaborate with thePlatform team to deploy to various environments, ensure smooth operation, and follow shared standards, practices, and processes 

- Performmanual testing when necessary to validate complex scenarios and new features beyond automated coverage 

 

 

- 5+ years of experience inQA / test automation 

- 3+ years ofPython development and testing withpytest

- Strong SQL skills, particularly MySQLor PostgreSQL

-Experience withNoSQL databases(MongoDB)

- Practical experiencewith AI/LLM tools beyond codeautocomplete 

- Upper-intermediateEnglishor higher
