Palletizer Technician

Work Schedule:

D Crew- Nights 7pm-7am

Position Summary 

Set up andoperate a palletizer machine tomaintaingood quality of cans produced (within the specified quality and technologicalparameters).  

Ensure smooth operations of productionmachinery andmaintain them inan appropriate technical condition. 

Essential Functions/Key Deliverables  

• Operate palletizing equipment daily to sort, transfer and stack finished products on pallets for shipment.  

• Observe and keep records of any quality issues. 

• Supplies loading equipment with empty pallets. 

• Report any issues with the technical condition of the machine tosupervisor. 

• Assist with the control of production and qualityspecification. 

• Have responsibility for any assigned equipment. 

• Co-operate withsupervisor and other workers as part of ateam and production line. 

• Assist with the implementation and maintenance of systems, including performing internal audits asrequired.  

• Perform any other dutyreasonable corresponding with the role. 

Knowledge/Skills/Experience 

• Engineering or Technical Degree preferred. 

• Previous experience in the manufacturing industry preferred. 

• Specific vision abilitiesrequired include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. 

• Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy and organization. 

• Excellent oral communication skills 

• Ability to function both independently and as part of a team; must be flexible and excited to grow with the organization
