Job Description:
• Design, develop, test, and maintain native Android applications using Java and Kotlin.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, backend engineers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Develop reusable, maintainable, and efficient code following best coding practices.
• Integrate RESTful APIs, third-party SDKs, and backend services.
• Optimize application performance, memory usage, and responsiveness.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical design discussions.
• Ensure application security, scalability, and reliability.
• Publish and maintain applications on the Google Play Store.
• Stay up to date with emerging Android technologies and development trends.
Expertise You'll Bring:
• 8 to 12 years of hands-on experience in Android application development.
• Strong expertise in native Android development, which is a critical requirement for this role.
• Extensive experience with Java and solid working knowledge of Kotlin.
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Android Studio, Android APIs, and Android Architecture Components.
• Hands-on experience implementing MVVM, MVC, and Clean Architecture patterns.
• Strong understanding of Material Design principles and mobile UI/UX best practices.
• Experience integrating REST APIs, JSON services, and third-party SDKs.
• Proficiency with local storage technologies including SQLite and Room Database.
• Strong understanding of multithreading, concurrency, asynchronous programming, and background processing.
• Experience optimizing application performance, memory usage, and responsiveness.
• Familiarity with Android lifecycle management and application architecture design.
• Experience using Git and modern version control practices.
• Knowledge of unit testing, UI testing, and mobile application quality assurance practices.
• Experience deploying and maintaining applications on the Google Play Store.
• Understanding of mobile application security principles and secure coding standards.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Strong analytical, debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced Agile environment.
