PRIMARY DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES:
MajorAccountabilities:
Ensures adequate training of FCMs on relevant therapeutic area needs, internal Working Processes and Standard Operating Procedures and that of the client; Manages the hiring, performance and development of the FCMs team; Oversees and approves expenses of FCMs; Ensures regular coaching of the FCM team throughregularfieldvisits;AssisttheFCMsinpeakorabsenceperiodstoensureastreamlinedprogramfrom a HCP’s perspective; Sets FCM Team objectives and KPIs and generates/maintains tools to generate significantperformancemetrics;Ensuresteamreadinessfortimelyfieldimplementationofcurrentandfutureprojects;
ForecastsandallocatesresourcestosupportgeographicalneedsoftheprograminkeepingwithKey PerformanceIndicators;
CollaborateswiththeClient’spointofcontactinactivities,issuesandinsightsrelatingtotheFCMs’duties andresponsibilities;
ProvidescontinuousfeedbacktotheSeniorProgrammanager,theClient’sPointofContactandotherrelevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure Best in Class status of the patient supportprogram;
May berequired to be on standby/on call as part of thisrole.
Responsible to report all Adverse Events to the assignedunits/departments
Responsibilitiesinclude:
Client Interaction
Provide leadership on clientaccount
Responsible for strategic programmanagement
Ongoing communication with key client personnel to review FCMs KPI and performancereports
DevelopsstrategiesandactionplanincollaborationwithProgramManagementteamandClientkeystakeholders.
Team Management
Act as a role model,provide leadership anddirection
Work with management team to ensure clear understanding of team mission andgoals
Workwithmanagementteamtohelpidentifyskillsthatareneededforprojectsorworkactivitiesandmatch skill requirements with availabletalent
Proactive management andprovide direction to the FCMteam
Assist in recruiting by interviewing and hiring for vacantpositions
Conduct Performance Reviews and Professional Development for the FCMteam
Training andMentoring
Manage,train and motivate FCMteam
Assist in training and developing FCMteam
Spendsa significant proportion of time in the field with the remoteteam
Develops succession plans for key teammembers
Recruits,trains and develops highachievers
Provides leadership to FCM team andparticipates as facilitator for learningprograms
ProgramManagement
Provide strategic guidance to the FCM team tooptimize customer programexperience
Proactive facilitation and management of activities andmilestones
Ensure effective execution ofbest in class holisticservices
Monitoractivities(KPIs)toensuresuperiorcustomerexperienceandensurecompliancewithProgram's operatingprocedures
Utilize systems (CRM, Reports) tomonitor, train and coach FCMteam
Works closely with management team to promotesynergy andidentifyefficiencies
Workscloselywithmanagementteam,client’sPointofContactandotherrelevantinternalandexternal stakeholders for strategic alignment
FinancialAccountability
Approve purchases, contracting, expenses,mileage and other budget relatedexpenses
Customerinteraction
Act as program champion with influentialstakeholders
Obtain feedback and input on programenhancements
Be a key strategic partner for the client SalesTeam
Technical Skills andExpertise
Stay abreast of industry trends and important pending legislationimpactingbusiness
Identify and collaborate with internal and external resources andexperts
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONALREQUIREMENTS:
Generalknowledgeofreimbursementandpatientassistanceprogramsanddatabaseelementsand functionality as well as operational policies and processes anasset;
Nursing background is an asset but not arequirement.
University science/healthcare degree, or equivalent combination of experience andeducation;
Minimumof7yearsexperienceinpeopleandclientmanagement,clinicalorbiotechnologyprogram management or related field, within healthcare
MINIMUM SKILLS,KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITYREQUIREMENTS:
Fluently Bilingual in English and French (written andspoken) an asset;
Background in healthcaresettings is an asset;
Solid understanding of the business principles of the pharmaceuticalindustry;
Abilitytounderstandandapplymedicaland/orbusinessknowledgetoallaspectsoftherole,butinparticular to provincial and private payer markets,complying with professional and ethical standards ofpractice;
Strong people managementskills;
Proventrack record in leadership and management of afield basedteam;
Able toleverage internal and external relationships and opportunities to help promote teamproductivity;
Stronginterpersonalskills.Abletocommunicateeffectivelywithalllevelsandwithinternalandexternalstakeholders;
Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to constantly changingsituations;
Effectiveproblemsolvingandanalyticalskills.Mustbeabletoabletobringforwardopportunitiesand recommendations to improve effectiveness and productivity, according to setobjectives;
Excellent client managementexperience;
Proventrack record if organizationalabilities;
Strong knowledge of computers andsystems;
Excellent knowledge of MicrosoftOffice;
Hold andmaintain a valid, non-expired, unrestricted driver’slicense
