Who you'll work with

Corebridge Financial Legal, Compliance, Regulatory and Government Affairs department is comprised of attorneys and other professionals providing high quality advisory and transactional support with integrity and objectivity across all parts of the organization. The team ensures an operating environment that minimizes legal, regulatory, and reputational risks and complies with all laws and regulations and Corbridge’s policies & procedures. This is a global, diverse, and award-winning team that has been recognized for its leadership and innovative solutions.

About The Role

Provide support to VFA Home Office and field sales force with management of licensing and securities registrations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform due diligence on new hire candidates by reviewing FINRA record, Background check report, FBI result report & other disclosures.
  • Coordinate with HR talent acquisition and compensation throughout the new hire candidate’s process to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
  • Submit documentation to industry regulatory entities such as FINRA.
  • Present any findings and advise management of any compliance issues.
  • Complete system maintenance and administrative functions of all internal systems and FINRA when requests come in.
  • Complete weekly reports to ensure annuity and product specific trainings are being completed.
  • Complete monthly audit reports to ensure data in systems are up to date.
  • Interact with advisors and home office personnel through email and phone and provide excellent customer service.
  • Manage payment submission for different state and vendor invoices related to licensing fees of department or field personnel.
  • Contribute to department by providing feedback or suggestions on how to improve the department overall or in certain areas.
  • Test new systems or procedures implemented to improve day-to-day functions.
  • Assist with projects when needed.

Skills & Qualifications

Candidates will be expected to possess the following professional and personal attributes:

  • 2+ years Financial Services industry experience preferred but not required.
  • Must be extremely detail-oriented and have the ability to work independently.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills required.
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • High School diploma required.

Work Location

This position is based in Corebridge Financials’ Houston, TX office and is subject to our hybrid working policy, which gives colleagues the benefits of working both in an office and remotely.

Estimated Travel

May include up to 25%.
