About The Role- Actuarial Development Program
The Actuarial Development Program (ADP) is designed to promote the education and training of employees pursuing actuarial examinations in the knowledge and professional skills relating to actuarial practices. The Program is intended to provide support and encouragement to actuarial students in their pursuit of professional designations and support for continued good standing in generally recognized actuarial professional organizations approved by the Company for those employees with professional designations.
We are seeking a highly motivated Actuarial Associate to support new product and feature launches, system validation of in-force annuity products (Variable, Index, Fixed Annuities and RILA) and policy calculation support for Operations. This role is ideal for analytically driven individual who enjoys problem-solving, building tools, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
 Responsibilities
Build, enhance and maintain actuarial validation tools to support system value validation
Prepare documentation to support model validation and internal review
Provide strong analytical skills and strategies in testing products, identifying and resolving error results from actuarial audit programs and product validation tools
Provide actuarial validation support for various Illustration tools for Index/Variable/Fixed/RILA Annuity products
Provide policy value quotes, reports, inquiries as requested by Operations/Marketing/Product Management
Collaborate with other functional areas/business partners (Operations/IT/Marketing/Product Development/Pricing) to support testing in policy administration systems; communicate validation findings, risks and recommendations in a clear and business-friendly manner.

 Skills and Qualifications
At least 4 actuarial exams passed, with 2+ years of experience with annuities
BA/BS in Mathematics, Actuarial Science or an equivalent major         Â
Knowledge of variable annuity, index annuity and living benefits products.
Proficient in Python/VBA/SQL/Excel
Strong analytical skills with a working knowledge of actuarial modeling concepts
Ability to work independently, given high level direction
Attention to detail in both work performed and presentation of work product
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Compensation
The anticipated salary range for this position is $81,500 - $131,500 at the commencement of employment. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. The actual compensation offered will ultimately be dependent on multiple factors, which may include the candidate’s geographic location, skills, experience and other qualifications.
In addition, the position is eligible for a discretionary bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
Work Location
This position is based in Corebridge Financial’s Woodland Hills, CA., Jersey City, NJ., or Houston, Texas office and is subject to our hybrid working policy, which gives colleagues the benefits of working both in an office and remotely.
