As aJunior Project Manager – Engineering & Construction, you will join our team in Manchester to support complexmajor infrastructure and nuclear-sector projects.

This role focuses on leading the full lifecycle delivery of multidisciplinary projects, ensuring effective control ofcost, schedule, risk, and quality, while maintaining strict compliance within highly regulated environments.

You will be responsible for managing stakeholders, contractors, and project teams while delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality engineering outcomes.

  • ExperienceLevel: 5- 10YOE

Key Responsibilities:

  • Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery ofmajor projects from concept through to handover
  • Develop and implementengineering design, contract, and execution strategies
  • Managemulti-discipline EPCM projects across engineering, procurement, and construction phases
  • Ensure projects are delivered toschedule, cost, and quality objectives
  • Applyestimating, scheduling, programming, and Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques
  • Monitor and controlcost, risk, change, and project performance
  • Implement robustrisk management strategies and mitigation plans
  • Manage complex contracts underNEC and FIDIC frameworks
  • Overseeprocurement strategies and contractor performance
  • Handlecommercial claims, negotiations, and dispute resolution
  • Engage effectively withmulti-level stakeholders, including clients, contractors, consultants, and regulators
  • Deliverclear presentations, reporting, and project updates
  • Facilitate decision-making across complex project environments
  • Ensure compliance withCDM Regulations and regulatory requirements
  • Promote a strongsafety-first culture across all project activities
  • Applynuclear quality standards and agraded approach to quality assurance
  • Maintain high standards ofenvironmental and security compliance

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge ofproject management frameworks aligned with APM Competency Standards
  • Proven leadership capability incomplex, high-value engineering projects
  • Proficiency inproject controls tools (cost, planning, risk, EVM)
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and critical reasoning skills
  • Excellentcommunication, influencing, and facilitation abilities
  • Working knowledge ofCDM Regulations
  • Understanding ofnuclear quality assurance and graded quality approaches

Required Qualifications:

  • ABachelor’s orMaster’s degree in Civil engineering or equivalent military experience

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience withinnuclear energy or other highly regulated sectors
  • Working knowledge of theFrench language
  • Demonstrated success in:
    • Managingengineering design and field execution strategies
    • DeliveringEPCM projects
    • Overseeingconstruction activities and contractor management
    • Managingcomplex procurement and contract strategies
