All Care Therapies isĀ currently seeking aĀ Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)Ā to join our team in a dynamicoutpatient clinic in Katy, TXĀ setting! Ā We are looking for a clinician to deliver compassionateĀ careĀ to ourĀ pediatricĀ patients, contribute to the multidisciplinary team, and collaborate with families to deliver a plan ofĀ care.Ā Bilingual in Spanish highly preferred.Ā

Responsibilities
- Treat clients by using therapeutic and self-care activities designed to improve function under the direction of the licensed occupational therapist (OTR).
- Monitor the clientsā activities to make sure they are performing them correctly and to offer encouragement and suggestions to improve performance.
- Contribute to supervision meetings with OTR and collaborate on progress reports and status updates.Ā Ā
- Document clientās session results in the SOAP note format using point of service documentation.Ā Ā
- Instruct clients, their families and any other caregivers in skills and techniques of the clientās treatment program, under supervision of the Occupational Therapist.
- Demonstrate exercises that can help clients perform everyday tasksĀ better and progress towards their goals.
- Verifies client information by interviewing client, reviewing, and recording changes to medical history, confirming purpose of treatment.
- Follows plan of care developed by occupational therapist & collaborates on changes to the POC.Ā Ā
- Direct teaching of therapyĀ techniques, such as positioning techniques, environmental adaptations and strengthening activities.
- Maintains occupational therapy records by recording clientās progress for use by the occupational therapist.
- Generates revenues by recording billing information of services rendered.
- Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
- Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting with others, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance, andĀ removing equipment in need of repair.Ā
- Notify management of dwindling supplies or equipment needs.Ā Ā
- Serves and protects the occupational therapy practice by adhering to professional standards, policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements.
- Unrestricted Occupational Therapy Assistant degree from an accredited program.
- Active Occupational Therapy Assistant license in current state.
- 1+ year of experience as a Pediatric Occupational Therapy Assistant.
- Ongoing participation in continued education courses required for licensure.
- Caring and compassionate demeanor.
- Current CPR certification.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good time management skills.
- Bilingual in Spanish highly preferred.

$30.00 - $38.00 per hourĀ

Hours:Ā Monday through Thursday from 1-6 pm CST and Friday from 1-5 pm CST
Job Type:Ā W2 -Ā Part time to work 24 hours per week with the potential to increase to full timeĀ
