Role Summary:
We have a strong engineering team working on a complex legacy-to-Python migration and several customer-facing platforms. We are not looking for another traditional developer. We need an engineer whose primary focus is to significantly increase the productivity of the entire development team by building AI-powered automation across every phase of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
This role will design and implement AI-driven engineering workflows for requirements extraction, code generation, automated testing, defect analysis, validation, and release automation. The ideal candidate will not simply use AI tools, but will architect scalable AI-based systems and workflows that multiply developer output across the team.
Required Skills:
- AI Agent Development & Orchestration – Critical Requirement
- Proven experience building multi-step AI agent workflows for software engineering tasks.
- Experience chaining workflows such as code analysis → code generation → validation → feedback.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, LangChain, custom AI agents, or equivalent technologies.
- SDLC Automation & DevOps
- Demonstrated experience automating significant portions of the software delivery lifecycle.
- Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, code-quality gates, and release automation.
- Experience with GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD platforms.
- Python
- Strong Python development experience.
- Experience with data processing, JSON transformations, modular application architecture, and automation tooling.
- Ability to build tooling and review or generate code at scale.
- Automated Testing Frameworks
- Experience developing AI-augmented regression testing frameworks.
- Experience with diff/comparison tooling, scenario-based test generation, and golden-file validation.
- Strong knowledge of pytest and CI-integrated testing.
- Advanced Prompt Engineering
- Experience developing complex, multi-step prompts for code generation, legacy code analysis, and business-rule extraction.
- Strong understanding of context structuring, token-limit management, and validation of AI-generated outputs.
- 7+ years of overall software engineering, development, automation, or related technical experience.
- Experience analyzing legacy or proprietary programming languages and extracting business logic using AI.
- Java and Spring Boot experience.
- Experience with Elasticsearch.
- Azure experience, including AKS and Cosmos DB.
- Healthcare data or Master Data Management (MDM) domain experience.
- AI-Native Mindset: Identifies manual engineering processes as opportunities for automation and uses AI as a core development capability rather than a supplemental tool.
- Force Multiplier: Measures success by increasing the productivity and effectiveness of the overall engineering team.
- Systems Builder: Creates reusable automation tooling, AI-agent templates, frameworks, and playbooks that can be adopted across teams.
