Job Description:
This position is ideal for a Licensed Psychologist interested in seeing patients in an outpatient clinic setting, being part of an integrated mental health team, and seeking opportunity to teach and train others.
Position details
- Allina Health Champlin Clinic is a primary care clinic with other specialties, including mental health services
- See patients in clinic Monday - Friday during daytime hours, with the ability to WFH, no call time required
- Ability to see adults, children, or the lifespan
- Position provides opportunity to train psychology practicum students, interns, and post-doctoral fellows and attend monthly supervision/consultation meetings
Principle Responsibilities
- Conduct diagnostic assessments and psychological evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and care teams.
- Deliver outpatient psychotherapy services (individual and family therapy).
- Engage patients’ social supports to improve functioning and outcomes.
- Coordinate care with community providers and agencies; initiate referrals as needed.
- Train psychology practicum students, interns, and post-doctoral fellows and attend monthly supervision/consultation meetings

Required Qualifications
PsyD or PhD in clinical psychology required
2+ years patient treatment in clinical setting preferred
BLS Tier 1 - Basic Life Support - Multisource required within 180 days
Formal Training/Certification in a suicide prevention modality as applicable based on role within 90 days required
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years patient treatment in clinical setting
Licenses/Certifications
- Licensed Psychologist - MN Board of Psychology required upon hire
- BLS Tier 1 - Basic Life Support - Multisource required within 180 Days
- Formal Training/Certification in a suicide prevention modality as applicable based on role within 90 Days required
Pay Range
Pay Range: $48.29 to $66.81 per hourThe pay described reflects the base hiring pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable). Shift, weekend and/or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work.Benefit Summary
