Duties/Responsibilities
Work closely with internal sales team as well as vendors andâŻcustomers to mitigate risk.
Draft,âŻreviewingâŻand negotiating a variety of contracts, including hardware, software, professional services, subcontractor, non-disclosure, and vendorâŻagreements.
Lead contract negotiations with sophisticatedâŻcounter-parties.
Propose andâŻassistâŻwith developing tools to improve contractual processes andâŻdocumentation.
Train and manageâŻlawyers.
Manage outside counsel as assigned and asâŻneeded.
Manage and respond to disputes related to contracts with opposing parties.
Create and update templates and processes as necessary.
Assess and minimize sources of risk, withâŻappropriate escalationsâŻas necessary.
Other job duties as assigned. Â
Education and Experience
Minimum Required â Juris Doctor, member of good standing of a state bar, at least 5 years of legal experience.Â
Preferred â Experience in one or more of these areas is preferred and should be highlighted in resume: commercial contract negotiation, government contracts, data security, litigation.Â

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Experience in a contracts group, as in-house counsel, or in corporateâŻlaw.
Experience managing people.
ExpertiseâŻin drafting and reviewing a broad range of commercial contracts, with a focus on technologyâŻcontracts.
Ability to juggle high volume and multiple projects, which will requireâŻtimelyâŻdecisions.
Customer/client-focusedâŻorientation.
Strong analytical skills and verbal and written communicationâŻskills.
Excellent business judgment, attention to detail, and self-motivation.
Must be a member in good standing of a state Bar.
