Junior Data Engineer


Location: Remote in Latam
Job Type: Full-Time Employee or Contractor

We’re looking for aJunior Data Engineer to support our data infrastructure and learn from experienced engineers. This role is ideal for someone eager to grow in data engineering, with foundational knowledge in programming and databases.


Key Responsibilities


  • Assist in developing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.
  • Support data ingestion, cleansing, and transformation processes.
  • Help monitor data quality and troubleshoot issues.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and analysts on daily tasks.
  • Document workflows and contribute to team best practices.


Technical Requirements


  • 0–2 years of experience in data engineering or related field.
  • Basic knowledge ofPython andSQL.
  • Familiarity with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or NoSQL).
  • Exposure to cloud services or data platforms is a plus.
  • Understanding of version control (Git).


General Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Fluent English (B2+).
  • Strong curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Proactive communication and collaboration skills.
