Le directeur, Engagement communautaire est un leader stratégique et opérationnel responsable du renforcement de la présence, de la crédibilité et de l’impact de l’entreprise dans les collectivités que nous servons. Le titulaire collabore étroitement avec les parties prenantes régionales et nationales pour mettre en œuvre des projets d’engagement communautaire qui sont inclusifs, ont un impact élevé et cadrent avec les priorités d’affaires, les valeurs de l’entreprise et les engagements en matière d’impact social.

En agissant à titre de point de contact régional pour les questions liées à la collectivité, le directeur assure une exécution, une gouvernance et une visibilité normée des investissements communautaires, tout en favorisant des relations approfondies entre les partenaires internes, les organismes communautaires et les équipes de direction régionales. Le titulaire de ce poste allie une stratégie réfléchie, une exécution impeccable ainsi qu’une solide gestion des fonds et de la réputation.


Principales responsabilités

Leadership communautaire et présentation de la marque

  • Agir Ă  titre de responsable rĂ©gional pour toutes les initiatives d’engagement communautaire, en veillant Ă  ce qu’ils cadrent avec les prioritĂ©s locales, les stratĂ©gies nationales et les valeurs organisationnelles.
  • Amplifier la prĂ©sence rĂ©gionale de la marque en faisant la promotion de partenariats communautaires significatifs, de commandites et d’occasions d’engagement qui renforcent notre identitĂ© et notre but.
  • Faire progresser les prioritĂ©s en matière de diversitĂ©, d’équitĂ© et d’inclusion grâce Ă  la conception de programmes inclusifs, Ă  des partenariats Ă©quitables et Ă  une participation visible aux Ă©vĂ©nements communautaires.
  • Promouvoir la reconnaissance des efforts d’engagement communautaire en amĂ©liorant les tĂ©moignages, les rĂ©sultats et la participation des collègues dans l’ensemble des canaux et forums.

Excellence opérationnelle et gestion financière

  • Assurer l’exĂ©cution rigoureuse et en temps opportun des processus de paiement en gĂ©rant la configuration des fournisseurs, en faisant le suivi des premiers paiements et des dĂ©caissements, et en veillant Ă  l’exactitude de la documentation dans l’ensemble des systèmes, comme SharePoint et Cybergrants.
  • Surveiller de façon proactive les dĂ©lais de paiement, gĂ©rer les interruptions ou les retards en appliquant des mesures provisoires et en tirant parti des options de TEF/ACH pour protĂ©ger les engagements de fin d’annĂ©e et les investissements communautaires.
  • Maintenir des dossiers et des registres clairs et prĂŞts pour l’audit, et ce, pour appuyer la gouvernance, l’attĂ©nuation des risques et la conformitĂ© aux normes financières et rĂ©glementaires.
  • Établir et maintenir des flux de travail normalisĂ©s pour la reddition de comptes, les approbations et la documentation afin d’amĂ©liorer la visibilitĂ©, l’efficacitĂ© et l’uniformitĂ© entre les rĂ©gions.

Promotion auprès des collègues et des collectivités

Promouvoir une culture inclusive et collaborative en encourageant la participation des collègues aux efforts d’engagement communautaire.

Soutenir les mécanismes de rétroaction et la participation à des programmes qui favorisent la diversité de pensée, la représentation équitable et l’apprentissage commun.

Faire preuve d’agilité et de réactivité dans la gestion des priorités changeantes, des besoins communautaires émergents et de l’évolution de la dynamique régionale.


Exigences du poste

  • BaccalaurĂ©at ou expĂ©rience Ă©quivalente en engagement communautaire, en responsabilitĂ© sociale, en communication, en gestion opĂ©rationnelle ou dans un domaine connexe
  • Au moins cinq ans d’expĂ©rience progressive en gestion des parties prenantes, en engagement communautaire, en gestion opĂ©rationnelle ou en mise en Ĺ“uvre de programmes au sein d’une entreprise complexe
  • ExpĂ©rience Ă©prouvĂ©e en gestion de processus, de gouvernance et de documentation financière dans un environnement sensible Ă  l’audit
  • Solide comprĂ©hension des modèles d’investissement communautaire, des principes de diversitĂ©, d’équitĂ© et d’inclusion, et de la gestion de marque
  • CompĂ©tences exceptionnelles en Ă©tablissement de relations, en communication et en influence auprès des membres de la haute direction et des partenaires interfonctionnels

The Manager, Community Engagement is a strategic and operational leader responsible for strengthening the organization’s presence, credibility, and impact within the communities we serve. This role partners closely with regional and national stakeholders to deliver inclusive, high‑impact community engagement initiatives aligned to business priorities, corporate values, and social impact commitments.


Acting as the regional point of contact for community‑related matters, the Manager ensures consistent execution, governance, and visibility of community investments while fostering deep relationships across internal partners, community organizations, and regional leadership teams. The role balances thoughtful strategy, flawless execution, and strong stewardship of funds and reputation.



Key Responsibilities

Community & Brand Leadership

  • Serve as the regional lead for all community engagement initiatives, ensuring alignment with local priorities, national strategies, and organizational values.
  • Amplify regional brand presence by championing meaningful community partnerships, sponsorships, and engagement opportunities that reinforce our identity and purpose.
  • Advance DEI priorities through inclusive program design, equitable partnerships, and visible participation in community events.
  • Champion recognition of community engagement efforts by elevating stories, outcomes, and colleague participation across channels and forums.

Operational Excellence & Financial Stewardship

  • Ensure robust and timely execution of community payment processes by managing vendor setups, tracking first payments and disbursements, and maintaining accurate documentation across systems such as SharePoint and Cybergrants.
  • Proactively monitor payment timelines, addressing outages or delays by coordinating alternate arrangements and leveraging EFT/ACH options to protect year‑end commitments and community investments.
  • Maintain transparent, audit‑ready records and logs to support governance, risk mitigation, and compliance with financial and regulatory standards.
  • Establish and sustain standardized workflows for reporting, approvals, and documentation to enhance visibility, efficiency, and consistency across regions.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in community engagement, corporate citizenship, communications, operations, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in stakeholder management, community engagement, operations, or program execution within a complex organization.
  • Demonstrated experience managing financial processes, governance, and documentation in an audit‑sensitive environment.
  • Strong understanding of community investment models, DEI principles, and brand stewardship.
  • Exceptional relationship‑building, communication, and influence skills across senior leaders and cross‑functional partners.
  • Proven ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
