Advanced Software Engineering Manager

We are looking for anAdvanced Software Engineering Manager to build a next-generation AI-powered assistant platform that embeds chat, reporting, and bespoke interfaces into institutional investment workflows. You will own end-to-end delivery in a high-autonomy environment and help ship reliable AI features quickly.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end systems for an AI-powered assistant platform used in investment workflows
• Build backend services in Python using FastAPI to deliver chat, reporting, and workflow features
• Implement and ship LLM-powered capabilities with strong focus on correctness and reliability
• Define low-level requirements by partnering with sophisticated business users and translating needs into solutions
• Develop APIs and integrations that support bespoke interfaces and rapid product iteration
• Deploy and operate services using AWS with infrastructure managed via Terraform
• Run and scale workloads on Kubernetes with production-grade observability and resilience
• Maintain a high bar for code quality through reviews, testing, and careful edge-case handling
• Coordinate within a small, hands-on engineering team to deliver outcomes with minimal process overhead
• Adapt quickly to new technologies and approaches as the product and stack evolve

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with Python or similar languages
• Strong autonomy and self-governance skills for ambiguous, high-level tasks
• System design experience producing scalable, reliable architectures
• Hands-on FastAPI experience or strong experience with comparable Python frameworks
• Cloud platform experience with Amazon Web Services
• Container orchestration experience with Kubernetes
• Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform
• High quality and reliability standards for production systems
• AI-assisted programming proficiency using Gen AI Assisted Development methods and tools
• Large Language Models (LLM) experience integrating and validating AI capabilities
• Advanced English proficiency (C1)
