Job Title: Administration โ Operator / Data Entry
Location: Onsite at downtown Columbus location
Schedule: Normal business hours, Monday - Friday
Pay: $13/hr
Anticipated Start: 11/02/2026
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-orientedData Entry Operator to accurately enter, verify, and process numerical and alphabetical information using electronic data-entry systems. This role works under close supervision and may also perform utility clerk duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail, excellent data-entry accuracy, and the ability to consistently meet established quality and productivity standards.
What You'll Do:
- Accurately enter and verify numerical and alphabetical data using electronic data-entry equipment.
- Maintain established quality and productivity standards.
- Complete and process work according to predetermined schedules and deadlines.
- Follow established data-entry procedures and identify when program or process changes may be needed.
- Implement approved changes within the data-entry system as required.
- Perform utility clerk duties and other administrative responsibilities as assigned.
- Review entered information for accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy while meeting required production standards.
- Follow established procedures, workflows, and quality guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve data-entry issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school studies or equivalent educational background.
- At least1 year of related data-entry experience.
- Knowledge of data-entry practices and procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to operate a PC, CRT, or PCDE equipment.
- Strong numerical and alphabetical data-entry skills.
- Ability to meet a minimum65 net keystrokes per minute (NKPM) requirement.
- Ability to work effectively under close supervision and meet established deadlines.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and established procedures.
- Applicants may be required to complete pre-employment skills assessments, includingEditing & Proofing, Filing, and Data Entry/10-Key. A minimum score of 65 NKPM may be required for the Data Entry/10-Key assessment.
