About the RoleÂ
TheNotifier 1reports to theSenior Consulting Utility Forester (Notification Supervisor)at ACRTInc. This position will play a key role inproviding an educational, personable, and professional interface with customers.This position requiresa high degree of organization, excellentinterpersonal communication skills,exceptional time management,and a willingness to travel as needed.Â
WhatYou’ll DoÂ
Communicate with Customers Â
Interact with stakeholders, utility customers, and line clearance vendorsÂ
Inform property owners of impending utility vegetation management through face-to-face interactions or leaving door hanger cardsÂ
Answerquestions from customers and property ownersregarding utility vegetation management to the best of your abilityÂ
Mayprovide general information about utility vegetation management to customers, when applicableÂ
Refer customeror property owner’scomplaints to theappropriate personnelwhen aninquirycannot bedirectlyanswered right awayÂ
Show courtesy and professionalism when interacting with customers and other employeesÂ
Utility Vegetation Management AssistanceÂ
Workin an independent environment and manage a geographical area for all vegetation related activitiesÂ
Work in varied terrain and inclement weather conditions with flexibilityin schedulingÂ
Inspect electric utility hardware and report anything which may pose a hazardÂ
May be called upon tobe trained toassist in stormrestoration effortsÂ
Other duties as assigned.Â
About YouÂ
Must haves:Â
Education:High School Diploma or GED required; may substitute 5 years of experience in lieu of a High School Diploma or GED
Experience:No experience is necessary. Employees will be trained. Must be 21 years of age or older. Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record Â
Nice to haves:Â
Education:Associates Degree in Forestry orHorticultureÂ
Experience: Oneyear ofutility relatedexperienceÂ
Your Skills:Â
Self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills, ability to multi-task, and work independently and as a teamÂ
Excellent communication skills, comfortable interacting withcustomersÂ
Demonstrated critical thinking skills and ability to exercise good judgement to make good business decisionsÂ
Competent computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft365Â
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions in a safe mannerÂ
