Senior Financial Accountant

We are looking for aSenior Financial Accountant at our Amsterdam HQ, 32-40 hours.

What our Senior Financial Accountants do

• Own the financial administration of multiple legal entities, taking end-to-end responsibility from invoice processing to reporting
• Act as the right handto the Finance Manager and support the day-to-day coordination of Record-to-Report activities
• Support month-end close processes, helping to plan, prioritise, and deliver accurate and timely financial reporting
• Prepare, review, and postjournal entries, including accruals, prepayments, estimates, and corrections
• Review and reconcile general ledger accounts across multiple entities prior to consolidation
• Partner with colleagues across stores and HQ, providing meaningful financial insights and support
• Support payroll accounting processes and perform related reconciliations
• Assist with cash managementactivities, including payment runs and VAT submissions
• Maintain fixed assetand prepaid expense registers and ensure related reconciliations are accurate
• Contribute to business cases, financial analyses, and other ad hoc projects
• Support the annual auditprocess and collaborate with external auditors
• Drive continuous improvements in financial processes, reporting, and ways of working

You have

• A solid foundationin accounting and finance, supported by a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in financial accounting or a similar role
• Strong analytical skillsand a genuine interest in understanding the story behind the numbers
• Experience with fixed asset accounting is a plus
• Confidence working in a dynamic environmentwith changing priorities and new challenges
• A solution-oriented mindsetand a proactive approach to problem solving
• Strong Excel skillsand comfort working with formulas and financial data
• Experience with Odoo ERP is a significant advantage
• Excellent Englishcommunication skills, both written and spoken
• The ability to work independentlywhile collaborating effectively with colleagues across the business

What we offer

• The salary range for this role is €50,000 – €75,000 gross per year based on full-time, including 8% holiday allowance. The salary within this range depends on years of experience.
