Position Summary
The Account Processor is responsible for performing a variety of document processing, recordkeeping, and administrative tasks associated with brokerage customer accounts within Wealth Management. This role requires a strong attention to detail, accuracy, and a thorough understanding of financial products and services. The Account Processor supports account maintenance activities, processes transactions, reviews documentation, and provides exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Process new account applications and maintain existing customer account information.
- Review, verify, and process financial and account-related documentation for completeness and accuracy.
- Record and update account transactions in a timely manner.
- Receive, classify, consolidate, and summarize documents and information.
- Complete reports and support operational and administrative activities.
- Perform quality reviews to ensure compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Research and resolve account discrepancies and processing issues.
- Respond to customer inquiries and requests for information.
- Escalate complex issues when appropriate to ensure timely resolution.
- Collaborate with internal partners to support account servicing and operational efficiency.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of customer information.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
- Proficiency with data entry and computer applications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in financial services, banking, investments, brokerage operations, or a related industry.
- Familiarity with investment products including brokerage accounts, IRAs, Roth IRAs, and retirement accounts.
- Experience processing documentation or performing quality reviews in an operations environment.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, resolve, and appropriately escalate issues.
