Our first Hoxton in Germany is home to 234 bedrooms of varying sizes, a ground floor restaurant, coffee bar and streetside terrace and The Apartment – our unique meetings and events concept.

The Hoxton is a series of open-house hotels, each in a neighbourhood that we love. Ever since we opened our first hotel in Shoreditch, we’ve never just been about offering a bed for the night. We want to be more than that: proving style doesn’t need to be sacrificed for good value and providing a place where guests can hang out alongside the locals and submerse themselves in the neighbourhood with vibrant, welcoming public spaces.
What you'll do...
- Ensure that the hotel’s technical operations run smoothly and efficiently on a daily basis.
- Carry out minor repairs and troubleshoot technical issues across all areas of the hotel with accuracy and care.
- Operate, maintain, and document all technical installations and equipment, ensuring they are in excellent working condition.
- Inspect and maintain safety and fire protection systems, making sure all regulatory and safety standards are met.
- Perform painting, repair, and general maintenance tasks to preserve the hotel’s facilities at a high standard.
- Coordinate material and supply requirements with departments operations. to the ensure relevant smooth
- Take ownership of the hotel’s technical infrastructure – from heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to plumbing and electrical installations – keeping everything running safely and reliably.
What we're looking for...
- Completed vocational training in a relevant field (Electrical, Plumbing, Building Services, or a related trade)
- Previous experience as a Maintenance Technician, Shift Engineer, Electrician, or in a similar role is an advantage
- Fluent in both German and  English (any additional language is a plus)
- Solid technical knowledge and a hands-on approach to problem-solving
- Flexible to work shifts, including weekends and varying working hours
- Confident in carrying out general maintenance tasks and minor repairs
- A proactive team player who can also work independently
