Guest Service Excellence

  • Deliver personalized and anticipatory service that consistently exceeds guest expectations.
  • Build strong relationships with VIP, long-stay, repeat, and high-profile guests.
  • Ensure guests receive a warm welcome, personalized orientation, and seamless departure experience.
  • Anticipate guest preferences and proactively arrange services before requests are made.
  • Handle guest complaints, concerns, and special requests promptly, professionally, and discreetly.

Butler Operations

  • Coordinate and oversee all aspects of butler services, including unpacking and packing, garment care, laundry arrangements, shoe care, and special amenities.
  • Manage guest itineraries, restaurant reservations, transportation arrangements, and personalized experiences.
  • Oversee in-room dining setups, beverage service, and special occasion arrangements.
  • Ensure guest suites and designated areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and organization.
  • Monitor service quality and ensure compliance with luxury hospitality standards and brand requirements.

Leadership and Team Development

  • Supervise, coach, and mentor Butlers and Junior Butlers to ensure service consistency and excellence.
  • Conduct daily briefings and ensure effective communication within the Butler team.
  • Assist in onboarding and training new team members.
  • Evaluate performance and provide constructive feedback to support professional development.
  • Lead by example through professionalism, integrity, and exceptional guest service.

Coordination and Communication

  • Collaborate closely with Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Concierge, Engineering, and Security teams to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Communicate guest preferences, special requests, and service recovery actions to relevant departments.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and handover of guest information between shifts.

Quality Assurance and Compliance

  • Uphold the highest standards of etiquette, protocol, grooming, and confidentiality.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, safety procedures, security standards, and local regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and service areas.
  • Identify opportunities for service enhancement and operational improvement.

 

  • Proven experience as a Butler in a luxury hospitality setting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset
  • Degree from a School for Tourism & Hotel Management preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a significant asset
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management systems
  • In-depth knowledge of etiquette, protocol, and international customs
  • Culinary knowledge and wine expertise
  • Discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle multiple tasks
  • Impeccable grooming and professional presentation
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Knowledge of Cambodian culture and customs is highly advantageous
