As a Sales & Event Coordinator, you will serve as a key ambassador of the brand, supporting the full lifecycle of luxury group and event business—from initial inquiry through flawless execution.Â

What You Will Be DoingÂ
Luxury Sales & Client EngagementÂ
Curate and cultivate meaningful relationships with clients, meeting planners, and partners, delivering bespoke service at every touchpointÂ
Respond to inquiries with elegance, efficiency, and personalization reflective of Sofitel standardsÂ
Support revenue generation through lead qualification, proposal preparation, and strategic follow-upÂ
Identify opportunities to enhance the guest experience through thoughtful upselling of rooms, catering, and signature servicesÂ
Participate in site inspections, client meetings, and presentations, showcasing the hotel’s unique offerings and refined aestheticÂ
Represent Sofitel with professionalism, passion, and pride, embodying the brand’s culture of excellenceÂ

Event & Catering CoordinationÂ
Orchestrate the planning and coordination of meetings, events, and group experiences with meticulous attention to detailÂ
Serve as a dedicated liaison for clients, ensuring seamless communication and an elevated planning experienceÂ
Assist in developing event timelines, function details, and catering requirements aligned with client expectationsÂ
Attend pre-conference and planning meetings, ensuring clarity, alignment, and flawless executionÂ
Partner with Culinary, Banquets, and Operations teams to bring each event to life with precision and sophisticationÂ
Anticipate needs and resolve challenges proactively to deliver memorable, luxury experiencesÂ

Group Reservations & Revenue OptimizationÂ
Manage group room blocks, rooming lists, and reservations within Opera, Delphi, or related systemsÂ
Maintain the integrity of group inventory, monitoring cut-off dates and collaborating with Revenue Management to optimize availabilityÂ
Process all reservation updates with accuracy and discretion, ensuring adherence to brand standards and policiesÂ
Communicate effectively with internal teams regarding changes, forecasts, and group performanceÂ
Support revenue optimization through reporting, data accuracy, and proactive inventory managementÂ

Administrative ExcellenceÂ
Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Sales & Catering team, ensuring smooth daily operationsÂ
Maintain impeccable organization of client files, contracts, and correspondenceÂ
Audit and update Delphi system entries to ensure precision and compliance with Sofitel standardsÂ
Prepare reports, presentations, and communications with a high level of professionalismÂ
Coordinate schedules, appointments, and internal communications across departmentsÂ
Contribute to a polished, efficient, and collaborative office environmentÂ
Your experience and skills include:
- Previous experience in luxury hospitality, sales, catering, or event coordination preferredÂ
Passion for delivering exceptional, personalized guest serviceÂ
Outstanding communication skills with a refined, professional presenceÂ
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with exceptional attention to detailÂ
Ability to anticipate needs and solve problems with poise and efficiencyÂ
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Â
Familiarity with Opera, Delphi, or similar hospitality systems preferredÂ
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environmentÂ
High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferredÂ
