The hotel features 408 well-appointed rooms, along with a variety of dining options including: The Restaurant, Blvd Cafe and Bar, pool bar and in-room dining.  We offer a relaxed, family friendly environment. For those wanting to unwind we offer a heated outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts, basketball & netball court, BBQ area, gym and kids’ corner. For our conferencing & events guests we have 6 modern function rooms available, accommodating up to 500 delegates.

 

About the role...

We are seeking a Reservations All Rounder (full-time position; 38 hours per week) to join our dynamic team. In this versatile role, you will be the backbone of our reservations department, handling a diverse range of responsibilities to ensure seamless booking experiences for our guests. As an all-rounder, you will support multiple functions within the reservations team while maintaining exceptional customer service standards and operational efficiency.

  • Process and manage guest reservations across multiple channels, including phone, email, and online platforms
  • Provide comprehensive customer support by responding to inquiries, addressing concerns, and offering solutions in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date reservation records in our booking systems and databases
  • Handle payment processing and verify booking confirmations with guests
  • Coordinate with other departments including housekeeping, front desk, and management to ensure smooth operations
  • Manage cancellations, modifications, and special requests with flexibility and attention to detail
  • Support team members across various reservations functions and provide backup coverage as needed
  • Identify and resolve booking discrepancies and guest concerns promptly
  • Maintain knowledge of room availability, rates, and promotional offerings
  • Contribute to team goals and participate in continuous improvement initiatives

About you...

  • Proven experience in a reservations, customer service, or hospitality environment
  • Proficiency with reservations management systems and booking software
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and general computer literacy
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to handle challenging situations calmly
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
  • Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing priorities
  • Knowledge of the hospitality or travel industry (preferred)
  • Experience using Opera Clout, resaweb, ACDC
