About the Role!
Join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, as a Public Area Attendant! We're looking for enthusiastic and detail-oriented professionals to maintain the exceptional cleanliness and presentation of our public spaces. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you'll play a vital role in creating a welcoming, comfortable environment for all our guests and visitors. Your dedication to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and your friendly, professional approach will directly contribute to delivering outstanding experiences and making a lasting positive impression.
Maintain exceptional cleanliness standards across all public areas, including lobbies, corridors, restrooms, dining areas, function spaces, and common areas.
Perform thorough cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing, polishing, and wiping down surfaces to ensure spotless, well-presented spaces.
Restock and organize housekeeping inventory levels, including linens, cleaning supplies, amenities, and chemicals, ensuring adequate supplies are always available.
Promptly identify and report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or equipment malfunctions to supervisors, demonstrating your commitment to a flawless guest experience.
Interact with guests and colleagues in a friendly, approachable, and professional manner, providing efficient and courteous service at all times.
Follow all safety protocols and proper procedures when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment to maintain a secure environment.
Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily cleaning objectives and support departmental goals in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibility
- Cooperate and comply with Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island in regards to OSH instructions and safe working procedures.
- Take reasonable care for the health and safety of themselves, enviroment and others at work.
- Do not adversely interfere with anything provided for OSH
- Do not interfere adversely with anything in place to control OSH risks.
- Cooperate with organization with respect to acions and or action taken to protect the employee/ OSH requirments.
- Follow OSHMS procedures as applicable.
- Raise identified OSH issues with designated persons and take part in OSH consulative OSH requirements.
- Report all near miss/ hazard/ unsafe/ conditions or act.
- Use appropriate PPE and safety syatems
- Be familiers with emergency and evacuation procesures.
- Attend OSH training as required by the training needs analysis.
- Maintan all OSHMS records as required by the Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island.

ACCOUNTABILITY:
- Held accountable and committed whatever it takes to comply with the company’s OSHMS Policies, OSHMS
Procedure, & Operational Works Instruction and any other relevant legislation applies within the organization. - Held accountable to take care of his own health and safety, other person in the workplace that may be affected by their acts or omission at work.

SUSTAINABILITY:
- To implement sustainability policies and procedures within their departments as per ESG company targets and KPIs;
- To ensure department-specific environmental SOPs and procedures are followed;
- To monitor daily practices related to waste segregation, energy, and water use;
- To identify opportunities for waste reduction and energy and water efficiency improvements.
- To report environmental issues, non-compliance, or improvement opportunities to management;
- To ensure new colleagues receive environmental and sustainability orientation
- To participate in a hotel relevant CSR activity.
