Position Overview:
The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest service across assigned areas of the hotel. This role involves supervising Room Attendants and Housemen, conducting room and area inspections, and coordinating with various departments to ensure guest satisfaction and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise daily operations of assigned guestroom floors and public areas.
Conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms, corridors, pantries, and service areas to ensure adherence to brand standards.
Monitor and guide Room Attendants and Housemen to maintain consistent quality and efficiency.
Respond promptly to guest requests and ensure all preferences or special instructions are followed.
Train, coach, and support housekeeping staff in their duties, including health, safety, and grooming standards.
Ensure adequate stock levels of linen, amenities, and cleaning supplies are maintained.
Report and follow up on maintenance issues or discrepancies in room status.
Enforce proper use and care of housekeeping equipment and supplies.
Coordinate with Front Office and Engineering for smooth room operations and maintenance follow-ups.
Assist in planning staff schedules and daily task assignments.
Qualifications:

- Cooperate and comply with Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island in regard to OSH instructions and safe working procedures.
- Take reasonable care for the health and safety of themselves, environment and others at work.
- Do not adversely interfere with anything provided for OSH.
- Do not interfere adversely with anything in place to control OSH risks.
- Cooperate with organization with respect to actions and or actions taken to protect the employee/ OSH requirements.
- Follow OSHMS procedures as applicable.
- Raise identified OSH issues with designated persons and take part in OSH consultative arrangements.
- Report all near miss/hazard/unsafe conditions or act.
- Use appropriate PPE and safety systems.
- Be familiar with emergency and evacuation procedures.

- To stop any hazardous activity within the workplace.
- To be consulted by the direct manager/supervisor.
- To be communicated by management on OSH matters and changes.
- To get information, training, supervision and instruction by the management.
- To have specific job descriptions and inductions on OSH responsibilities
- To report any hazards and to get feedback on that.
- Participate in OSH matters such as risk assessments, incident investigations, PPE selections, hazard control selections, management of change process etc.
- To assign OSH representative from employees.

- Regular reporting to direct manager / supervisor.
- For their own acts of negligence to laid down procedures.
- Attend all trainings & TBT and work according to the trainings & TBT Plan.
- To be abided and perform according to RHAUH OSHMS and local OSH, SRA & food safety regulatory frame works.
- For safety of self and the equipment used and task performed.
- Accountable to protect others who may affect by their work.
To work according to Job descriptions provided
- Attend OSH training as required by the training needs analysis.
- Maintain all OSHMS records as required by the Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island.
